Basic Info.

The self-aligning ball bearing is a bearing equipped with steel balls and cage components between the inner ring of two raceways and the outer ring of a spherical raceway. It has two structures-cylindrical hole and tapered hole. And the material of cage includes steel plate, synthetic resin, engineering plastics etc.

Self- aligning ball bearings mainly bear radial load, and can bear small axial load at the same time, but can't bear only axial load.Due to the structure of the self-aligning ball bearing, its limit speed is relatively low.

As the curvature center of outer raceway surface is consistent with the bearing center, it has the function of self-aligning, which can compensate for the errors caused by different concentricity and deflection of shaft & shell. However, the relative inclination of inner and outer rings shall not exceed 3 degrees.

This kind of bearing is mainly used in double support shaft which is easy to bend under the action of load, and in parts where the shell seat hole cannot guarantee strict coaxiality.

Self-aligning ball bearing products are available in a variety of structure mold, including open structure and seal products with high quality lubrication.
